A personal note from Patrick

Every business has a story.

I have always been fascinated by entrepreneurs — the ideas they pursue, the risks they accept and the value they create for their clients, employees, families and communities.

After more than 25 years of founding, buying, building, appraising, advising and selling businesses, I know a valuation is rarely only about a number. It is often connected to years of work, personal sacrifice and important plans for the future.

I established IBV™ so business owners and their advisers could access independent, evidence-based valuations that explain not only what a business is worth, but why.

Every business has a story. I look forward to hearing yours.

Let’s talk about your business

I really enjoyed working with Patrick throughout our business valuation process. He was fast, thorough and highly consultative from start to finish. Patrick was the first person to respond to our initial enquiry and took the time to provide a detailed consultation before we even proceeded, which gave us great confidence in moving forward. His knowledge of business valuation and the broader commercial aspects of the process is outstanding. He was also extremely responsive to our emails and questions, always taking the time to explain things clearly and help us understand the reasoning behind his approach. I would highly recommend Patrick to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, professional and genuinely consultative business valuation expert.
